Marlow’s Tavern

Art Director
Photography Direction

2024

Led photography direction in partnership with the Marlow’s Tavern team, collaborating closely with onsite chefs and food stylists to capture the spirit of a true neighborhood tavern. Executed a seasonal menu shoot and a refreshed visual direction rooted in moody, city-driven, rustic, and vibrant tones · highlighting the craft, energy, and warmth behind every dish. Dynamic action shots and rich, textural moments shaped a new imagery system for all future collateral, built on the belief that guests should feast with their eyes first.

Photography Tone

For Marlow’s Moments, I helped develop a visual system rooted in real, lived-in energy. I guided the approach to the tavern’s lighting, balancing bright, welcoming daytime scenes with high-contrast, golden-hour warmth in the evening. This created a dynamic sense of place that evolved naturally throughout the day.

I helped shape photography that leaned into POV perspectives, overheads, and intimate closeups, pulling the viewer directly into the moment. I prioritized candid, in-the-flow storytelling—capturing steam rising, cocktails being poured, dishes being garnished, and guests laughing or reaching for a bite. Texture and movement were key; nothing felt over-styled or static.

Creative Collateral Implementation

Our team then carried the new photography direction and brand evolution into every immediate need — from OOH marketing and the website to the app experience and ongoing email marketing.
